Hopes for Media Studies

My first hope for media studies this year is to learn about a whole range of media platforms. Throughout the year I hope to learn a wide range of skills such as; camera techniques and editing as well as enhancing any current skills I have. I also hope to be able to analyse  different media's and say why they did it the way they did through what I have learnt.

What is your favourite film?

Inception-  The concept of the film was brilliant although at points was hard to follow, which meant you had to concentrate on the film throughout. The film itself was rare as you had to do a lot more thinking than in a typical film. The plot was cleverly set out as they could; plant an idea inside of a dream. The acting in the movie was amazing and was complimented by sublime visual effects such as the use of CGI to make Paris collapse in on itself. Although the film had a long build up, it made up for this in the action scenes later on.Overall the movie was different to anything I had seen and had a fascinating story line.
